Most AI agent platforms assume you will log into a desktop dashboard every time something needs attention. CloudAxis was built for the opposite: agents run on an isolated cloud computer around the clock, and your phone is the control panel.
Connect WhatsApp once, and your AI team texts you when duties finish — and you can text back to list tasks or trigger a run on demand. Your agents work 24/7. You check in from the chat app you already open fifty times a day.
How to connect WhatsApp to CloudAxis
You need WhatsApp linked before commands or duty summaries work. Growth plans include 100 WhatsApp sends per month — enough for daily morning scans plus on-demand runs.
- Open app.cloudaxis.ai on your phone (install it to your home screen first — see our iPhone and Android install guide).
- Tap Launchpad in the bottom dock.
- Find WhatsApp under integrations and tap Connect.
- Enter your phone number with country code and complete the verification code WhatsApp sends.
- Open WhatsApp on the same phone. You should see a welcome message listing available commands.
- Optional: on any specialist duty, enable WhatsApp notification on completion so summaries arrive automatically after each scheduled run.
WhatsApp commands you can send right now
Once connected, you manage scheduled duties from the same WhatsApp thread — no need to open CloudAxis unless you want to preview files.
tasks — see what is scheduled
Send the word tasks (lowercase). CloudAxis replies with a numbered list of your scheduled duties — up to ten, with a count if you have more. Example: Your scheduled tasks: 1. Daily competitor pricing scan 2. Weekly client report… Send "run <task name>" to trigger one now.
run <task name> — trigger a duty immediately
Send run followed by part of the duty name. Matching is case-insensitive — run competitor finds "Daily competitor pricing scan".
If one match: you get ✓ Running "Daily competitor pricing scan" now. You'll receive the result shortly. The agent starts on the cloud computer. Results arrive in WhatsApp when the duty finishes.
If multiple matches: CloudAxis lists them and asks you to be more specific — e.g. run daily competitor pricing scan.
If no match: you get a suggestion to send tasks first.
help — command cheat sheet
Send help anytime to see the full command list again, including status (remaining AI Tasks and browser minutes) and START / STOP for scheduled alert opt-in.
What a duty summary looks like in WhatsApp
When a scheduled duty completes — or after you trigger one with run — your agent sends a plain-English summary.
Example message
- CloudAxis · Research Agent
- Duty complete: Daily competitor pricing scan
- 3 price changes detected (Acme Corp, BetaShop, GammaStore)
- Report: ~/files/reports/competitor-prices-2026-06-25.csv
- Tap to open in CloudAxis →
Preview the full report on your phone
Need the spreadsheet? Tap the CloudAxis icon on your home screen, open the Files app in the bottom dock, and preview the CSV. Touch-native browsing: scroll the report, tap download, forward a screenshot to a client. For push alerts on iPhone lock screen, see our PWA push notification guide.
Why this matters: Tuesday between client calls
Here is what this looks like for Priya, who runs a six-person marketing agency from her iPhone.
A real morning on WhatsApp
- 6:47am — Research duty finishes on the cloud computer. WhatsApp: "3 price changes detected." Priya reads it while making coffee.
- 9:15am — Between client calls, a competitor launches a flash sale. Priya types run competitor in WhatsApp. Agent re-scans pricing pages through the residential VPN and replies in four minutes.
- 9:22am — She opens CloudAxis from her home screen, taps Files → reports → previews the updated CSV. Screenshots two rows and forwards them to the client Slack channel.
- 9:25am — Taps Agents in the bottom dock. Confirms the Social agent's afternoon duty is still scheduled. Closes the app. Laptop never left her bag.
Your AI team works. You check in.
That is the core mobile story: agents run on a persistent cloud computer with a real browser and file system. You glance at output from WhatsApp or the PWA. No desk required. Frequently asked questions
Can I trigger any agent duty from WhatsApp?
You can list and run scheduled duties with tasks and run <name>. Duties must already exist — create them in the Agents app on your phone or ask Cloudia to set one up. The run command matches duty names; be specific if you have several similar ones.
Do I need CloudAxis open for WhatsApp commands to work?
No. Duties execute on your isolated cloud computer whether your phone is on or off. Send run competitor from WhatsApp in a taxi; the agent starts on the server and replies when finished. You do not need the PWA open.
Does WhatsApp work on the free plan?
WhatsApp sends are included on Growth ($19/mo) and above — 100 sends per month on Growth. The free tier is ideal for testing agents and mobile file review; upgrade when you want daily WhatsApp summaries and on-demand run commands on a cron schedule.
