AI Agent Push Notifications on iPhone: Get Alerts When Duties Finish

Your Research agent finished the 7am competitor scan while you were in the shower. By the time you pick up your iPhone, a push notification is on your lock screen and the report is already in your Files App. You never opened a laptop — you checked in from your phone.

Most AI agent platforms assume you are at a desk when something important happens. CloudAxis was built for the opposite: agents run on an isolated cloud computer around the clock, and your iPhone tells you when work finishes.

On iOS 16.4 and later, CloudAxis push notifications work through the Progressive Web App — no App Store download. Install once, allow notifications, and your lock screen becomes your duty dashboard.

How to Install CloudAxis on iPhone

You do not download CloudAxis from the App Store. It is a PWA at app.cloudaxis.ai — install it directly from Safari.

  1. Open Safari on your iPhone (Chrome on iOS cannot install PWAs with push support — use Safari).
  2. Go to app.cloudaxis.ai and sign in or create a free account.
  3. Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  4. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  5. Edit the name if you want, then tap Add in the top-right corner.
  6. Open CloudAxis from the new home screen icon — not the Safari tab. The app opens fullscreen with a bottom dock: Files, Agents, Browser, and Settings.

How to Enable Push Notifications on iPhone

Push notifications require iOS 16.4 or later and must be enabled from the installed PWA — not from Safari.

What a push notification looks like

When a scheduled duty completes, your lock screen shows an alert like this:

Push vs WhatsApp — use both or either

Push notifications hit your lock screen instantly. WhatsApp messages give you a readable summary you can forward to a client. Most agency owners enable both: push for speed, WhatsApp for detail. Connect WhatsApp in the Launchpad under integrations, verify your number, and agents send duty summaries when jobs finish.

  1. Open CloudAxis from your home screen icon (the installed PWA, not a browser tab).
  2. When prompted, tap Allow on the notification permission dialog.
  3. If you dismissed it earlier: tap Settings in the bottom dock → Notifications → Enable push notifications.
  4. Confirm Allow in the iOS system dialog that appears.
  5. Optional: go to iPhone Settings → Notifications → CloudAxis and choose lock screen, banners, and sounds.

What You Can Do Once Installed

Files App — browse agent output on touch

Tap Files in the bottom dock. You see the same folder tree your agents use on the cloud desktop — organized by agent and date. Tap a file to preview it: spreadsheets, PDFs, screenshots, Word documents. Swipe to scroll through a report. Tap the download icon to save a copy to your iPhone Files app.

Example: your Research agent saves a morning scan to ~/files/reports/competitor-prices-2026-06-24.csv. You tap the push notification, land in CloudAxis, open Files → reports → preview the CSV, and share it to a client before your coffee cools.

Agents App — your team at a glance

Tap Agents (TeamBoard) in the bottom dock. You see every specialist: Research, Browser, Content, Social, and any custom agents Cloudia built for you. Each card shows active duties, last run time, and status. Tap an agent to view its duty schedule and recent output files.

You are not starting work from your phone — you are confirming work finished. Agents run on their cron schedule whether your phone is on, off, or in airplane mode.

WhatsApp — agents text you when duties finish

In CloudAxis, open the Launchpad and connect WhatsApp under integrations. Enter your phone number and complete verification. When a duty completes, your agent sends a message like this:

Browser — watch agents work in picture-in-picture

Your agents control a real Chromium browser on the cloud desktop — not a headless scraper. On mobile, tap Browser in the bottom dock to see the live session in picture-in-picture mode. Watch your agent scroll a pricing page, take a screenshot, or fill a form while you wait between meetings.

Why This Matters: A Real iPhone Morning

Here is what this looks like for an agency owner managing three client accounts from an iPhone 15 — no laptop involved.

  1. 6:30am — You are still asleep. Your Research agent's weekday duty fires. It opens each competitor's pricing page through a residential VPN, screenshots the pricing section, and writes changes to competitor-prices-2026-06-24.csv.
  2. 6:47am — Duty complete. Push notification hits your lock screen: "3 price changes detected." A WhatsApp summary follows with the file path.
  3. 7:15am — On the train, tap the notification. CloudAxis opens fullscreen. Bottom dock appears. Tap Files → reports → preview the CSV. Two clients had competitors drop prices overnight.
  4. 7:22am — Tap Agents. Your Content agent shows "Last run: Friday 4pm — weekly blog draft ready." You preview the Word doc in Files and redirect the Social agent to post at 9am.
  5. 7:30am — You arrive at the client site. MacBook stays in your bag. Agents keep running.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the App Store to get push notifications on iPhone?

No. CloudAxis is a Progressive Web App. Install it from Safari via Add to Home Screen, then allow notifications when prompted. iOS 16.4+ supports PWA push notifications without an App Store download.

Will my agents keep running if my iPhone is off?

Yes. Agents run on your isolated cloud computer on their cron schedule whether your phone is on, off, or in another country. Duties complete on the server. Push notifications and WhatsApp messages arrive when work finishes. You do not need to keep the app open.

Why are my push notifications not working on iPhone?

Three common causes: you opened CloudAxis in Safari instead of the home screen icon, your iOS version is below 16.4, or notifications were denied in iPhone Settings. Fix: delete the home screen icon, reinstall from Safari, open from the icon, and tap Allow when prompted.
