The best brief is often the one you say out loud. You are walking to a meeting and you think of three things the agent should check — spelling them out with your thumbs is slower than the thought. So we made talking an option.
Voice notes are now a first-class way to brief your agent. Record what you want, send it, and the agent transcribes it and treats it exactly like a typed message — planning, using tools, and reporting back.
How voice works
Send an audio note anywhere you already talk to your agent — the app, or WhatsApp, where voice messages are second nature. CloudAxis transcribes the audio to text and hands the transcript to the agent as your request. The rest of the flow is unchanged: it plans, does the work on your persistent cloud desktop, and delivers the result.
It is voice in — the fast way to say what you want. You still get the agent's work back as results in the OS and messages on your channel, so you can glance and approve rather than listen to a monologue.
Where it earns its keep
Voice is not a gimmick when the alternative is thumb-typing a paragraph. A few places it just fits:
- On the move — walking, driving hands-free, between meetings. Say the task; read the result later.
- Long or messy briefs — "check these five competitors, note any price changes, and draft a summary" is faster spoken than typed.
- WhatsApp-native teams — if your team already lives in voice notes, your agent now lives there too. Send it the same way you'd send a colleague a voice message.
- Describe a code change out loud — pair it with CloudAxis Coding: say "update the pricing page to $39 and make the button green," and get back a pull request with a preview.
- Accessibility — for anyone who finds typing on a phone painful, talking is simply the better input.
It fits the way CloudAxis already works
Voice does not change the model — it changes the door. Your agent still runs on a persistent cloud desktop, still keeps your files and browser sessions between runs, still delivers results you can review and approve. Voice just removes the keyboard from the equation when the keyboard is in the way.
The result: the gap between "I should have the agent do that" and actually asking it shrinks to the length of a sentence you can say out loud.
Frequently asked questions
Can I have a live voice conversation with the agent?
Today voice is for input — you send a voice note and it transcribes it and acts. You get the work back as results and messages in the app or on your channel, not as a live back-and-forth call.
Does voice work on WhatsApp?
Yes — send a WhatsApp voice message the same way you would to a colleague, and your agent transcribes it and gets to work.
What languages are supported?
Transcription uses a Whisper-based engine, which handles many languages. Accuracy varies by language, accent, and audio quality — clear audio in a common language works best.
