Notion

Connect Notion in Launchpad so any specialist can search your workspace, read pages, create or update content, and query databases straight from chat or a scheduled duty.

What your specialists can do

Once Notion is connected, your specialists work with it much like you would: they can search across every page and database you've shared, open a page and read its contents, create new pages, edit existing ones, and run structured queries against a database (filtering by property, status, or date). Results come back in the chat thread or get written into a duty's report—there's no manual copy-paste between Notion and CloudAxis.

How to connect it

  1. Open Launchpad and select Notion.
  2. Generate an API key (an internal integration token) from your Notion workspace settings and paste it into Launchpad.
  3. In Notion itself, share the specific pages or databases you want your specialists to access with that integration—CloudAxis only sees what you explicitly share.
  4. Ask a specialist to do a simple search or read to confirm the connection works.

Examples

  • “Search my Notion workspace for every page tagged ‘Q3 roadmap’ and summarize the top five priorities.”
  • “Create a page under my Notes database called ‘Weekly review — Monday’ with sections for Wins, Blockers, and Next steps.”
  • “Query the Customers database for rows where Stage is Trial and Created is after last week, then post the list here.”

Honest limits

  • A specialist can only see pages and databases you've shared with the Notion integration—anything else returns a not-found error, which usually means it isn't shared yet.
  • Complex layouts (synced blocks, some embeds, unusual formatting) may not round-trip perfectly when a specialist edits a page—ask for a simpler structure if something looks off.
  • Very large databases should be filtered by property before asking for a summary, the same way you'd narrow a view inside Notion.
Tip: if a specialist says it can't find a page you know exists, check that page's sharing settings in Notion first—that's the most common cause.

Plan availability

Notion is available from the Growth plan. Once your workspace is connected in Launchpad, any specialist whose role needs it can use it. See pricing for what each plan includes.

Common questions

Does CloudAxis see my entire Notion workspace once connected?
No. Only the pages and databases you explicitly share with the Notion integration are visible to your specialists—sharing follows Notion's own permission model.

Can a specialist create new Notion pages, or only read them?
Both. Specialists can create new pages, edit existing ones, and query databases, in addition to reading and searching content you've shared.
