Email

Connect Gmail, Outlook, or any IMAP mailbox in Launchpad and a CloudAxis specialist can triage your inbox and draft replies — real sends are draft-first by default and held for your approval, with a daily cap on how much can go out.

What it lets a specialist do

  • Read and search your inbox, and group messages — needs reply, FYI, can ignore.
  • Draft replies in your voice for you to review.
  • Send messages once you approve, or directly if you've set that specialist to Act on its own.
  • Save attachments from an email into your workspace.
  • Run a scheduled digest duty — for example, a daily morning summary of overnight email.

How to connect a mailbox in Launchpad

  1. Open Launchpad from the dashboard.
  2. Find the Email card and choose your provider — Gmail, Outlook, or IMAP.
  3. For Gmail or Outlook, sign in through that provider's own login screen. For IMAP, enter your host, port, and credentials.
  4. Choose which specialist(s) should use this mailbox by default, or leave it unset so you can name the mailbox explicitly in a message.
  5. Set autonomy for sending: Ask me first (the default) holds every send for your approval; Act on its own skips that hold once you trust the drafts it produces.

Draft-first sending and approval

By default, a specialist prepares a draft and asks before sending. Approve with one tap from WhatsApp or the dashboard Approvals inbox. An approval you never act on simply expires rather than sending on its own. A daily cap on outbound sends applies as well, so a duty that goes wrong can't flood your contacts.

Examples

  • "Show me my last 20 unread emails, grouped into needs reply, FYI, and can ignore."
  • "Draft a reply to {name}'s email saying I'll follow up by Friday — don't send it yet."
  • "Every weekday at 8am, send me a digest of overnight email grouped by sender and priority."

Limits, honestly

  • Sends are held for approval by default — review drafts promptly, since approvals expire if ignored.
  • A daily cap on outbound sends applies to every plan, to prevent runaway sending.
  • Corporate mailboxes may need IT approval before the connection completes; personal accounts usually connect right away.
  • If you connect more than one mailbox, tell a specialist which one to use when it isn't obvious — otherwise it falls back to that specialist's default mailbox, or your account default.

Plan minimum: connecting a mailbox and drafting replies is available from the Free plan; your daily send allowance scales with plan — see Pricing.
