Social Media Manager
Social Media Manager runs your ongoing social desk — drafting and scheduling posts, checking comments and DMs, and summarizing performance — across whichever social accounts you connect.
What it does
Each week it proposes a content plan, publishes posts within your plan's limits and each network's rules, and can check comments and direct messages on connected accounts for anything worth a reply. It can also pull a performance summary so you don't have to open each platform separately.
Use cases
- One specialist for the weekly rhythm — a founder who wants posting, scheduling, and tracking handled by a single specialist instead of juggling apps.
- Comment and DM triage — drafted replies to the latest comments or messages, ready for you to approve rather than typed cold.
- Weekly performance recap — a short summary of what posted and how it did, delivered without opening every network.
What to connect in Launchpad
Connect the social accounts you want managed in Launchpad before hiring this specialist. It only acts on accounts you've explicitly connected — anything you haven't connected stays out of scope, and it will tell you rather than guess.
Typical duties and schedule
A weekly planning duty by default (Monday morning), with posting and engagement checks running on their own schedule alongside it. Runs when: schedule by default; you can add a manual Run now. Duties run at most every 15 minutes.
Publishing a post, sending a DM reply, or anything else that leaves your account defaults to Ask-me-first — approve with one tap on WhatsApp or in the dashboard Approvals inbox. Approvals expire if left unanswered, so nothing sits half-sent.
Best for
Founders and small teams who want a single specialist owning the weekly social rhythm — planning, posting, and a light read on engagement — instead of splitting that work across separate tools and separate logins.
Keep in mind
Social Media Manager can only see and act on networks you've connected in Launchpad, and it still respects each network's own posting limits and rules — it won't attempt a workaround if a platform blocks a post. If you haven't connected a network, ask it and it will tell you that instead of guessing at what might be there.
What you can ask in chat
- "Propose five posts for this week across my connected networks."
- "What's left in my monthly posting quota?"
- "Draft replies I can approve for the latest comments on my last post."
Plan minimum
Social Media Manager requires a Growth plan or higher. See pricing for what's included.
