Power Analyst
Power Analyst is a CloudAxis specialist built for deep research: longer briefs, stronger sourcing, and code execution for analysis that goes beyond what a spreadsheet formula can do.
What Power Analyst does
Power Analyst combines web research with code execution, so it can pull numbers from multiple sources, run its own calculations or statistical checks, and produce a longer, more rigorous brief than a standard research pass. Every run highlights what changed since the last one, so a weekly reader gets the delta, not a repeat of last week's brief.
Because it can execute code as part of a run, Power Analyst can also verify a claim rather than just repeating it — recomputing a ratio from raw figures, for instance, instead of quoting whatever a source states.
Good for
- A multi-page strategic landscape on a market or technology, with primary sources cited.
- Comparing several vendors or approaches side by side in a table, backed by numbers Power Analyst calculates itself rather than eyeballs.
- Tracking a fast-moving regulatory or technical topic where you want the assumptions checked, not just summarized.
What it needs connected
Power Analyst doesn't require a Launchpad integration to start — it works from web research, code execution, and your cloud workspace. Connect Sheets or Notion in Launchpad if you want its output delivered straight into a workspace your team already checks.
Typical duties
Power Analyst's starter duty runs weekly, commonly early Monday, and produces one long-form brief per run. You can also run it on demand in chat for a one-off deep dive outside the schedule.
What you can ask in chat
- "Write a two-page landscape on AI agents in customer support, with primary sources."
- "Compare three vendors on data residency and lay it out as a table."
- "What broke my assumptions from last Monday's brief?"
Plan
Power Analyst is available from the Pro plan.

Frequently asked questions
How is Power Analyst different from Analyst?
Analyst summarizes files already in your workspace on a weekly cadence. Power Analyst adds live web research and code execution for longer, more rigorously sourced briefs, and requires the Pro plan.
Can I get a Power Analyst brief outside its weekly schedule?
Yes — ask for a deep dive in chat any time; the weekly duty is the default cadence, not the only way to use it.
