Analyst
Analyst is a CloudAxis specialist that reads the data files and reports already in your workspace and turns them into a structured summary of trends, outliers, and what to do next.
What Analyst does
Analyst reads new data you drop into your cloud workspace — a spreadsheet export, a log file, a CSV — alongside its prior reports, then publishes an updated write-up: what moved, what's unusual, and a short list of suggested next steps. Each report is versioned so you can see how the story changed run over run. Before you trust a weekly brief built from chained tool calls, read our published Luna inventory policy harness benchmark for how Auto Mode finishes multi-step duties on Hetzner.
Analyst's summaries describe charts and tables in plain text rather than rendering interactive graphics, and it always closes with a short "executive" section you can forward on its own without the supporting detail. When a report cites vendor model scorecards, treat leaderboard claims skeptically — our guide to inflated GPT-5.6 benchmark headlines walks through METR and SWE-bench audit caveats. Analyst duties that ingest multi-hundred-page exports need a model that actually recalls facts buried deep in the file — we published a needle-in-haystack Luna recall test at three hundred k tokens on our Hetzner stack for that reason.
Good for
- A weekly signups-by-channel breakdown built from a CSV you export and drop into the workspace.
- Flagging anomalies in recurring metrics, like a spend or churn number well off trend.
- Turning a pile of disconnected exports into one readable narrative for a team update.
What it needs connected
Analyst works directly on files in your cloud workspace and doesn't require a Launchpad integration to start. Connect Sheets or Notion in Launchpad if you want Analyst to pull data straight from a live spreadsheet or database instead of a file you upload manually.
Typical duties
Analyst's starter duty runs weekly, commonly Monday morning, producing one report per run. You can ask it for an answer any time in chat between scheduled runs — the weekly duty is the default cadence, not the only way to reach it.
What you can ask in chat
- "Summarize last week's signups by channel using the file I just uploaded."
- "What changed in this report compared to the prior version?"
- "Flag any metric that's more than two standard deviations off its trend."

Frequently asked questions
What file formats can I hand Analyst?
Common exports like CSV and spreadsheet files work well. Drop the file into your cloud workspace and reference it in chat or let the duty pick up the latest one.
Can Analyst compare this week's numbers to several past reports, not just the last one?
Yes — Analyst keeps its prior versioned reports and can reference further back than the immediately preceding run if you ask it to.
