Postmaster
Postmaster is a CloudAxis specialist that reads a mailbox you connect in Launchpad, drafts replies, and sends you a digest of what needs a decision — without sending anything on its own unless you've approved it.
What Postmaster does
Once you connect a mailbox in Launchpad, Postmaster reads new messages on its schedule, drafts replies for the ones that need one, and writes a short digest to your cloud workspace summarizing what came in and what it drafted. Sending a reply is an external action, so by default Postmaster runs Ask-me-first: drafts wait for your approval on WhatsApp or in the Approvals inbox before anything goes out.
Postmaster keeps task records of threads it has already triaged, so a message you've already answered or dismissed doesn't reappear in the next digest as if it were new.
Good for
- A high-volume inbox where most messages fall into a handful of predictable categories, like declines, invoice questions, or scheduling.
- A morning digest that turns overnight email into three or four bullets you can act on without opening the inbox.
- Drafting first-pass replies to routine requests so you're editing instead of writing from scratch.
What it needs connected
Postmaster requires a mailbox connected in Launchpad before it can read or draft anything — this is the one integration it needs to function. Everything else, drafts and digests, happens once that connection is in place.
Typical duties
Postmaster's starter duty runs on weekday mornings, commonly around 07:00, producing a digest and any drafted replies from overnight messages. You can add a second duty later in the day if your inbox needs a midday pass too.
What you can ask in chat
- "Draft polite declines for everything in my inbox I don't need to act on."
- "Summarize any thread that mentions an invoice."
- "Give me three bullet points I can paste into my update to leadership."

Frequently asked questions
Which mailboxes can I connect to Postmaster?
Connect your mailbox in Launchpad from the Email integration; once it's linked, Postmaster can start reading and drafting on its schedule.
Will Postmaster ever send email without asking me?
Not by default. Its autonomy is set to Ask-me-first out of the box, so replies wait for your approval unless you deliberately change that setting.
