Auto Mode on Every Plan — Why We Removed the Model Picker

Free, Growth, Pro, and Max all use Auto Mode. Auto routes each job among GPT-5.6 Luna — no manual picker. Here is why we removed the catalog, and what still differs between plans.

4–6 min read

We are removing the manual model picker from CloudAxis and CloudyBot. Every plan — Free, Growth, Pro, and Max — uses Auto Mode.

What Auto Mode means

Auto Mode routes each job among hosted GPT-5.6 Luna based on what the task needs. There is no dropdown to pick a model by hand.

Same Auto Mode on every plan. You describe the work; we pick the model. The Auto routing layer keeps improving as we finish shipping it — the roster above is the Auto pool.

Why we removed the picker

Most people do not want a model catalog. They want work finished: research filed, a browser task done, a scheduled report in WhatsApp. A picker asks the wrong question — “which SKU?” — and pushes anxiety (“did I burn an expensive model on a summary?”) and overspend “just in case.”

Plans should differ by capacity: AI credits, browser minutes, specialist slots, schedules, SEO audit allowance. Not by who gets to browse a model menu.

We are still early. That is a feature for this decision. With a small user base, we can lock Auto Mode before picker habits harden — and keep improving how Auto chooses among GPT-5.6 Luna.

What comes next

We keep tuning Auto Mode selection as the routing layer lands fully. The public promise stays the same: Auto picks among GPT-5.6 Luna — you do not.

Frequently asked questions

Can I still pick Claude or GPT manually?

No. Auto Mode is the only option on every plan. Auto Mode is powered by GPT-5.6 Luna for you.

Why upgrade to Pro or Max then?

More AI credits, browser minutes, specialists, schedules, and features like SEO audit allowance — not a model dropdown.

Which models does Auto Mode use?

GPT-5.6 Luna — selected automatically for the task.
